Child of Light is an RPG developed by Ubisoft Montréal for Xbox ONE and other platforms. Set in the magical world of Lemuria, Child of Light follows Aurora, a young girl on a quest to restore the sun, the moon, and the stars. As Aurora, players explore a mystical world and battle a variety of monsters, all while forging relationships with help from the mysterious fairy Igniculus.

Players control Aurora as she moves through Lemuria, solving puzzles and engaging in turn-based battles. In battles, players can use Igniculus to provide a variety of helpful abilities as well as use powerful spells, special attacks, and strategies. Child of Light also features an innovative Uplay sharing system, allowing players to share their in-game achievements and rewards, such as new skills and items, with their friends.

The game's art style is distinct, inspired by European illustrators like Arthur Rackham and the legendary French comic artist Hugo Pratt. The soundtrack to Child of Light is equally distinct, composed by Coeur de Pirate and using musical excerpts from the works of Carl Orff and Hildegard von Bingen. Ultimately, Child of Light is a unique RPG experience, with a focus on story, exploration, and combat.
